Vanessa Shaw is an experienced professional Executive Coach who has worked with pan-European corporate and private clients including law firms, banking, international organisations, and small and medium enterprises. She works with senior managers and high potential staff to enhance their performance and develop their leadership capabilities. Feedback from her clients consistently emphasizes her positive, empathic and supportive approach that enables her to easily build rapport and trust with people. By combining valuable insight with supportive feedback and integrity she is able to assist her clients in developing pragmatic solutions to complex career and personal challenges.

She has lived in Geneva, Switzerland for 20 years and her extensive work experience in the United Nations environment enables her to be at ease working within a multicultural and multi-national environment. Her keen interest in human development has resulted in Vanessa taking on leadership roles within the International Coaching Federation (ICF). She is currently a Board Member of ICF, Switzerland, where she is responsible for professional development. Vanessa is also co-leader of the ICF Switzerland French-speaking Chapter and serves on the ICF Global Committee for Ethics and Standards. She was also Programme Leader for the ICF 2008 European Coaching Conference.

Her belief that Emotional Intelligence provides the missing link for creating sustainable professional and personal success led her to association with EI world. Her passion lies in assisting others to discover how increasing their Emotional Intelligence has a powerful impact on reducing stress, increasing work performance and enhancing personal well-being. She is qualified in the BarOn EQi tool for measuring emotional intelligence.

Vanessa is fluent in English and French and coaches in both languages.
