Program Overview

This accreditation program licences you to administer the Team Emotional Intelligence Survey (Team EI Survey), which is based on Team Emotional Intelligence theory™ and a team dialogue method developed by Professor Vanessa Druskat and Dr. Steven B. Wolff, who co-created the concept of Team Emotional Intelligence (Team EI).

This learning journey has been developed by Ei World with proprietary intellectual property belonging to the co-creators of Team EI, with permission.

The following lesson, Program Outline, will provide further detail on the structure of the course.

Aims

By the end of this program, you will be able to administer and facilitate an increase in team performance, using the Team EI Survey.

Learning Objectives for this Accreditation Program

You will be able to:

  • Explain the practical relevance of the concept of Team EI drawing on a wide variety of underpinning research and practical theory.
  • Use the Team EI Survey to introduce a starting point for evaluating the team’s current functioning, facilitating team dialogue on the Team EI Survey report and focusing on priority team norms for a specific team.
  • Identify the likely reactions of a team to survey results, and be able to help a team face its challenges and move towards a more effective level of teamwork.  
  • Demonstrate your knowledge of the concept, framework and survey of Team EI in a short online knowledge check.
  • Analyse Team EI Survey data through case studies used during the program and in the final case assessment.
